I am one of Primary Care Wirral’s founders and Chief Officer.
I have worked in the NHS for the last 10 years, 2 in commissioning and programme management and the last 8 as a business manager and equity partner.
I began my career in the finance industry doing change and business transformation work and moved to the public sector when I relocated to the North West.
Prior to working in the NHS I worked with organisations like Legal & General, HSBC and Cheshire County Council. Working within these organisations has enabled me to understand how to make successful change, how to influence at a corporate level and how to deliver effective services.
As the purse strings pull tighter and the needs of the population increase, there has never been a greater need for strong leadership to deal with the huge challenges that NHS providers are facing. I believe collaboration will be the key to success.
I have a proven track record of achieving significant cultural and systemic change and a history of successful operational and strategic management.
I am passionate about the NHS and the delivery of excellent, value for money health services.
