I am one of Primary Care Wirral’s founders and Board Member.
Alongside my role in PCW, I work as a GP partner at The Orchard Surgery in Bromborough, Wirral.
I am keen to focus on proactive care, new ways of working and education for the often forgotten front line staff. As part of my role as Community Clinical Tutor for the University of Liverpool Community Studies Unit, I have developed innovative education resources and regularly teaches medical students and other doctors.
I have been involved in the design and delivery of new approaches to care provision, both in care homes and within the practice. This has involved networking and relationship building across organisations, including those delivering intermediate care.
I am interested in developing integrative models of care with closer collaboration between organisations that share common goals.
In addition to my healthcare background, I also have experience in bid writing, negotiating funding, web design and graphics. I am keen to put all my knowledge and skills to the service of PCW, to demonstrate that a community benefit society can deliver high quality sustainable health and social care.
