CANCER PREHABILITATION PRACTITIONER - One Wirral CIC

Our colleagues at One Wirral CIC are recruiting two new Cancer Prehabilitation Practitioners.

The candidates will work with people who are undergoing investigation and highly likely to have a diagnosis of cancer. The post holder will work within their professional boundaries to optimise their physical state prior to surgery / treatment for cancer.

The Prehabilitation Project aims to give people affected by cancer access to appropriate physical activity opportunities pre and post-surgery to maximise surgery / treatment to improve patient health outcomes. The role will contribute to increasing patient’s physical activity levels, improving diet, and making long-term lifestyle changes.

Location: various locations in Wirral

Contract type: 12 months

Hours: full-time

Salary: £21,650 per annum (pro rata)
