We are delighted to announce that two new general practices have joined Primary Care Wirral.
The West Kirby based Estuary Medical Practice and Parkfield Medical Centre, in New Ferry, are the latest GP practices to join the federation.
In words of Dr Eddie Roche, PCW Chair, “the addition of two new practices is good news not only for our federation, but for the creation of a successful place-based integrated model of care in Wirral.
“In the context of the new GP Contract rules, and within the challenge of establishing Primary Care Networks from the ground up, collaboration between practices is vital.
“PCW’s aim is to help practices define efficient strategies and develop a strong voice for General Practice in Wirral.
“Increasing our membership brings us a little closer to achieving these goals.”
With these two new additions, Primary Care Wirral now represents 28 member practices from the 51 currently operating in the Wirral peninsula.
