Who should attend?

This free Wirral Change course is open to all general practice staff looking to gain a greater understanding of the cultural and social factors relevant to BAME patients.

What will I learn?

This intensive Wirral Change course will provide you with an overview of key cultural and social factors which can impact BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) patients quality of care.

At General Practice level, this BAME Awareness Training will enable practices to effectively address the needs of their local population, considering aspects often unknown and overlooked by front line employees.

  • Diverse cultures
  • Cultures and differences of local BAME
  • Asylum seekers and refugees

The training also includes a group lunch for attendees
