‘The Wirral Weigh’ is a new Weight Management Programme aimed at supporting patients during their weight loss journey within a friendly group setting.
During the eight weeks our team of health coaches will touch on various key topics to help clarify and dispel myths around diets, exercise and other factors involved in weight loss.

‘The Wirral Weigh’ has been designed to “engage patients during their weight loss journey while guaranteeing they gain the knowledge needed to efficiently manage their weight in the long-term,” said Scott Morgans, PCW Health Coach Coordinator.
“The idea is to provide participants with a host of practical ways to improve their health and lose weight easily, ensuring they understand how diets, nutrition and physical activity influence the process.
“This level of understanding will help them organise a rational and realistic weight loss plan and will reduce the levels of stress and frustrations many people experience when they see they are not getting results despite their efforts.
“We cannot wait to trial this programmes and share the results and learning with the PCNs we work with.”
